Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film ‘Super Delux’ will now release in North India on March 29 as Reliance Entertainment has brought the rights of the Tamil film. The film is helmed by critically acclaimed director Thiagarajan Kumararaja, who won a National Award for ‘Aaranya Kaandam’.
The upcoming film is receiving rave reviews from several special screenings. The movie features actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Mysskin, Ramya Krishnan and others. The movie is based on the backdrop of 2016 Chennai rain and floods, stars Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as a transgender Shilpa.
Trade Analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter to announce the North Indian release date of the film and wrote, “Reliance Entertainment to release #Tamil film #SuperDeluxe on 29 March 2019 in *North India* territory… Stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni and Ramya Krishnan… Directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja… Poster”.

‘Super Deluxe’ is touted to be a crime-drama and is produced by Thiagarajan Kumararaja in his Tyler Durden and Kino Fist Banner. The film is receiving positive reviews from selected critics and filmmakers from Bollywood as they have watched it recently in a special screening.
