In an official announcement on 17th May, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. confirmed that Jio had signed a partnership with Screenz, an entertainment-based interactive platform. This partnership is expected to add to Jio’s gamification platform to benefit the productivity and sales of the company. Reliance also highlighted the fact that with this partnership, Jio Screenz had finally become a part of the very few integrated entertainment-based interactive content providers in India.

Some unique features of Jio Screenz include the fact that this platform is set to allow real-time conversation between the viewers and broadcasters of any show in the form of polls, quizzes and votes. The Content Management System of these TV shows will also be improved as the broadcasters will be able to design and create their own unique interactive sessions. Jio Screenz will be supported on both Android, and iOS, as well as the indigenous Jio Kai-OS, and can be enabled on most digital applications using a software developer’s kit. This platform is also confirmed to support all social networking sites including Google, Twitter, and Facebook. Jio Screenz will also benefit the targeted advertisement sector of Reliance because it is set in a continuous artificial intelligence learning loop which can create unique profiles for each viewer and report routine feedback to the company.

Jio Screenz is now officially the second brand-engagement platform launched by Reliance since the release of JioInteract, the first ever artificial intelligence-based brand-engagement platform in the world. Prior to that, other interactive games like the Jio Kaun Banega Crorepati Play Along and Jio Cricket Play have both proved to become successful projects by the company after it was confirmed to enroll over 65 million customers in the games each.
