Actor Kiran kumar finally gets relief as he tests negative for the Coronavirus. The actor tested positive earlier on May 14 and was in quarantine at his home for the past two weeks.

The actor released a statement after his test result came out. He said After being retested for COVID-19, I am happy to say that I have tested negative. My family is still following strict home isolation. I was totally asymptomatic, and apart from the boredom that accompanies isolation, I had no other complaints.

Kumar was grateful to his family, support staff, doctors and nurses who helped him throughout his tests. He specifically expressed gratitude towards his brother in law Dr Deepak Ugra, who is himself a doctor. He further expressed his gratitude saying “I would like to say a loud and resonating thank you to all our support staff. I would like to take a breath to thank all the wonderful friends and family that have offered their unwavering support, whether it be through endless facetime calls or home remedies steeped in love and haldi.”

To ensure his family’s safety, he is staying alone on a floor just above his residence. Passing his time by meditating, reading and self reflecting the actor is taking isolation in a positive stride.
