Do you remember Gauri from Aamir Khan’s Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India that released in 2001? Gauri’s character was played by Gracy Singh, who didn’t do many movies after Lagaan. But it is reported that she is making a comeback again on the small screen.
The Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. actress appeared on the small screen in the title role in serial “Santoshi Maa”, which aired from 2015 to 2017 is now going to star in a socio-mythology Tv serial titled as Santoshi Maa – Sunaye Vrat Kathayein”.
The narrative of the show focusses on a very different aspect of Vrat Kathayein. The show wants to present diverse beliefs and rituals behind the emergence of every Vrat, through Santoshi Maa.
When Gracy Singh was asked about the same, she told us, “Fans and well-wishers keep asking me the reason I take up only select roles when I am constantly offered various roles. Well, the reason is that with every character, I look for something deep that I can connect with on a personal level.”
