Remo D’Souza is an Indian dancer, choreographer, actor and film director. Now, he has mainly involved in choreography. Remo is very well known for making India’s first 3D dance movie, ABCD – AnyBody Can Dance, with the contestants from the series 1 and 2 of Dance India Dance. Later, he directed ABCD 2, featuring stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Prabhu Deva in lead roles, with Lauren Gottlieb, Raghav Juyal, and Dharmesh Yelande in supporting roles. Currently, he is the super judge of the dance reality show “Dance+”, which aired on the Star Plus, along with Dharmesh Yelande, Shakti Mohan, and Punit Pathak.
In the upcoming episodes of the Star Plus show “Dance+ Season 3” Kathak exponent Birju Maharaj will be seen performing on the stage and to see him performing choreographer Remo D’Souza felt blessed to watch the legend perform live.
Kathak exponent, Birju Maharaj’s troupe will be seen giving a challenge to the contestants on the show. On this choreographer, Remo D’Souza said, “Having Pandit Birju Maharaj on our sets and on our stage was an honor in itself. He’s a living legend and it was indeed a blessing for me to watch him perform live. He’s the dancing maestro who has able to bring our India’s culture and art form in a profound way and taken it to new heights.” He further added, “Having his team in my squad on ‘Dance +’ was a great pride for me and I will forever indebted to the makers for giving me this opportunity.”
