Renuka Shahane, is going to direct her first Hindi movie ‘Tribhanga’, starring, Shabana Azmi, Kajol and Mithila Palkar. But this will not be her first directorial, as she directed ‘Rita’, nine years ago, in Marathi.
However, she said that the cast has not yet been finalised yet. But according to the reports, Renuka wants to cast these three actresses, to lead her film.
Apparently she has already approached them, and they have shown interest in it, but none of them has signed it yet.
When asked about the film, Renuka said that the film about three women from different generations.
Renuka started her acting career with a Marathi film and then turned to television. Her first Bollywood break, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun…!’, made her popular and worked in several hindi films after that. But she was more active on small screen.
Renuka was last seen on TV, in comedy show ‘Khichdi’, playing a female gangster Bawaskar Madam.
