Bollywood actresses Richa Chadha says that people assume that she is angry by nature. However, she feels that she is just a straight-forward person and she speaks her mind out.
Recently while promoting her upcoming movie titled ‘Jia Aur Jia’ when the media people asked actress that why she often lands up having an argument with the media. On this, she clarifies that she is a straight-forward person and she does not get angry she just say what she feels and moreover she said that the media people are also not the less.
She feels that most of the people often assume that she is very angry by nature because she has played the characters of an outspoken girl ‘Bholi Punjaban’ in the movie like ‘Fukrey’. She believes that while doing such roles it creates a certain kind of image of an actor, but she clarifies that she is not like that in the real life.
Moreover, she believes that the image is not self-made. She says that people only remember her for the movie like ‘Fukrey’ and they don’t remember her for the role she played in the movie ‘Masaan’. However, she has done both the kinds of films, but she feels that the audience will see you in a certain kind of an image and identify you with that image only. Richa says that if people don’t want to remember her in other kinds of roles which she has played in other movies then she cannot actually do much about it. She likes to do a movie which is coming in her way and if she is liking the subject of the movie so she will do it she does not follow the conscious strategy with that.
Currently, she is gearing up for her upcoming movie titled ‘Jia Aur Jia‘ along with the actress Kalki Koechlin. The movie which is directed by Howard Rosemeyer and he is very well known for his work on the films like Parineeta, Chalte Chalte, and Partner and produced by Mirza N Askari which is presented by Blue Fox Motion pictures Pvt Ltd. The makers of the movie have decided to recreate the song ‘Jia ho… Jia oh Jia kuch bol do’ from the 1961’s movie titled ‘Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai’, which features Dev Anand and Asha Parekh. Earlier the song was originally sung by Mohammed Rafi. Now, the new version of the song is composed by Nisschal Zaveri and is sung by Jyotika Tangri however, it also has bits from the original Rafi version as well.
The song ‘Jia ho… Jia oh Jia kuch bol do’ is said to be the remix of the old song and they both (Richa Chadha and Kalki Koechlin) are dancing in it. However, the movie will revolve around the two women with completely different personalities. The movie is said to be a women-centric drama in which bold Kalki and Richa will be seen playing the bold roles. Kalki Koechlin will play a quirky, fun, girl, while Richa’s character would be strict, monitoring Kalki. After a long list of Bollywood bromance now it’s time for some girls buddy film. The movie also features mystery guy Frank M Ahearn, which will be seen romancing with Kalki’s character. The movie is said to be shot in the Sweden.
Jia Aur Jia’ is all set to release on October 27.
