Actor Rishi Kapoor is all set to kickstart the shooting of his next film which will be helmed by debutant director Hitesh Bhatia and goes on the floors on 5 December, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror. He started shooting for the film last year in New Delhi but had to stop after he was diagnosed with cancer. The Kapoor and Sons actor spent over 11 months in New York for the treatment and returned to India on 10 September this year.

Upon his return to Mumbai, Kapoor completed the patchwork of a thriller in a three-day schedule and is now looking forward for a full fledged shoot. “Hitesh’s film is currently under pre-production. It will be shot from scratch and goes on the floors in Mumbai on Thursday. This will be followed by a month-long schedule in Delhi in January,” a source close to the development informed the daily.

The untitled film will also mark Kapoor’s reunion with actor Juhi Chawla. The duo have been seen together in a number of films including Bol Radha Bol, Saajan Ka Ghar, Ghar Ki Izzat. Their last film together was Daraar.
Written by Bhatia and Supratik Sen, the film will be produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and MacGuffin Pictures.
Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor will be seen with actors Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala in the upcoming film The Body releasing on 13 December.
