And now it’s official, that Riteish Deshmukh will play the role of a dwarf in Milap Milan Javeri’s action thriller ‘Marjaavaan’. Ritiesh will be seen playing the role of a terrorist in the film which is not new. We all have seen him as one in ‘Bangistan’.
Biz analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news of Riteish’s character through his official Twitter account. He put a full stop to the estimations, being made about the film and its character.

Riteish will be the antagonist of the movie like his role in ‘Ek Villain’. His negative role in the movie earned him much appreciation and several awards including IIFA.
Milan’s directorial also stars Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh, Tara Sutaria and Shaad Randhawa among others. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani.
Riteish started his career with Hindi film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ opposite Genelia D’Souza and Shriya Saran in 2003. After that, he continued to work in Hindi cinema, until 2014, when he made his Marathi debut with ‘Lai Bhari’, one of the most expensive Marathi films till date, in which he played a double role. The film and his performance were widely loved and appreciated and he won several awards for the same.
He is currently busy with the filming of his another Marathi movie ‘Mauli’, in which he matched his dance steps with his wife Genelia.
