Kuch Kuch Hota Hai will be 20 years old this Octobers and we still can’t get over the cutest romance created by Karan Johar. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza have also expressed their fandom towards the movie by recreating the famous ‘Rahul is a cheater’ sequence in Musical.ly application.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai hit the theatres on 16 October twenty years ago and has still maintained to be a favourite of the viewers. It went on to become the highest grossing film of the year with Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha being a very far second.
The cute couple of tinsel town, Riteish and Genelia tried to recreate the epic chemistry of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol by recording a video on Musical.ly as a tribute to the blockbuster. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has been an inspiration for the new age of Bollywood rom-coms that followed after its release. Be it youth oriented movies or coming of age fashion, the movie has been a pioneer in changing the phase of the genre completely.
