As Bhabha, Jim Sarbh is equal parts imperious man and an accomplished scientist. Ishwak Singh portrays Sarabhai as a clement but no less passionate soul, balancing the family life and his dream. The bond between the actors on the screen tones with the real-life nexus of the two legends. The show opens with an early morning meeting of the scientists, where Homi Bhabha proposes India make its first atom bomb in response to China’s aggression in 1962. On the contrary, Sarabhai opposes the suggestion. His motive was to put India on par with the rest of the world, not as the reaction to the ruthless response to the aggression by a foreign land. The purpose of the two will-powered men was the same but through different rationales. The show also brings out the respect the two had for each other.

Written and directed by debutant Abhay Pannu, the show exquisitely chronicles the brilliance and perseverance of the legendary men of Indian history on screen.
