ZEE5 has announced an interesting web series based on stories written by Ruskin Bond. The author’s ‘Ghost Stories’ are about to come alive for the first time on the digital platform. Produced by Banijay Asia & Opus Communication, the series consist of 12 episodes is titled ‘Parchayee- Ghost Stories’.
Each episode will showcase a different handpicked tales written by Bond. The author said, “Whenever I run out of people to write about, I cook up a few ghosts. Or they appear before me! I am happy that my stories are coming alive for the first time on a digital platform and I look forward to watching them on ZEE5. I hope my readers will enjoy the series.”
National award-winning directors including V.K. Prakash and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury will make the Ruskin’s amazing horror tales alive. The first four episodes “The Ghost in the Garden” and “The Wind on Haunted Hill” will be directed by VK Prakash and “Wilson’s Bridge” and “The Overcoat” to be directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
