IIFA 2017, to be held at the MetLife Stadium, will be a celebration of Indian film, music, fashion and dance. The eighteenth edition of the prestigious awards ceremony is going to be telecast on our TV screens in India, and that too live straight from New York. Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan will join Karan Johar to host the event on July 15 in New York.
There have been numerous press conferences about the upcoming event, and organisers are doing their best to create a hype. Yesterday, Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput expressed their excitement about the IIFA. Today, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan visited the US consulate in Mumbai before they head off to Big Apple (New York) for IIFA. The duo are all set to perform at the much awaited IIFA 2017 in New York. But before heading to the most awaited award function the duo paid a short visit to the US Consulate in Mumbai.
The official Twitter handle of the US Consulate Mumbai Verified account posted that the two actors receiving tips on how to travel from their Marines. These two pics of Salman and Katrina posing with the marines are going viral on the internet. Katrina is seen here posing with the staff of US Consulate Mumbai. She looked lovely in a pretty, yellow dress and was all smiles for the picture.

On the work front Katrina and Salman will be seen in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The movie is a sequel to their hit 2012 film, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. At present Katrina is gearing for the release of ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
