Salman Khan to promote Tourism and Heritage of Madhya Pradesh, announces CM Kamal Nath

Indian superstar, Salman Khan who is born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and spent his childhood there, will promote the state’s Tourism and Heritage. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath has announced that Salman Khan will be present in Madhya Pradesh from April 1 to April 18 to work for the promotion of his home state.

The eldest son of famous writer Salim Khan was born in Indore and has spent his childhood there and in the early 80s, his father shifted their base to Mumbai. Salman has always been deeply rooted in his country and culture.

”As Salman Khan hails from Indore in MP, I spoke to him on the phone and asked him if he would help the state. His reply was ‘sure’,” Mr. Nath said as he presented the 70-day report card of his government. However, Kamal Nath did not make a comment when quizzed if the actor would contest in a Congress ticket against Lok Sabha Speaker and eight-time sitting BJP MP Sumitra Mahajan from the Indore seat in the upcoming general election.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in the periodic drama, ‘Bharat‘ starring alongside Katrina Kaif. The film is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.
