Looks like Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are getting ready to reprise their iconic roles of Inspector Chulbul Pandey and Rajjo, sooner than we thought. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the next installment in the Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer series “Dabang”, and on the eighth anniversary of the film, Salman Khan took to Instagram to announce the third entry to this franchise. Salman wrote, “Aaj 8 saal Ho Gaye Dabangg Ko… thank u for all the appreciation and love from Rajjo and Chulbul Pandey…see u in #Dabangg3 next year.”
Soon after that, Sonakshi also made posts on Instagram and Twitter, to thank her fans for the support they provided her with, as Dabangg was the movie that launched her career in Bollywood. She wrote, “8 years of #Dabangg, 8 years of #chulbulandrajjo, 8 years of me doing what i love the most! Thank you @beingsalmankhan, @arbaazkhanofficial, #AbhinavKashyap for making me realize my calling! And thank YOU all, for all the love ❤️ see u in #dabangg3 next year!!!”
With these announcements, it is clear that the movie will go on floors very soon. Dabangg did not just launch the career of Sonakshi Sinha but it was also the directorial debut of Abhinav Kashyap and the debut of Arbaaz Khan as a producer.
