During the promotions of ‘Tubelight’, Salman Khan had revealed that it wasn’t much of an effort to convince SRK to do the role. In fact just after one call, SRK had agreed to star in the film. Shah Rukh appeared as the magician Gogo Pasha on-screen.
Now, it seems like Salman will be returning the favour to Shah Rukh Khan. We are already hearing rumors that Salman Khan will be doing a cameo in SRK’s next film with Aanand L Rai, which is still untitled.
According to a report, SRK has already confirmed that there is a cameo in this film. The superstar is quoted as saying, “There is a guest appearance in Ana’s film that I’d like Salman to consider. We are still working on it. But, I would like him (Salman Khan) to play the role.”
When asked further about what would be the character of the cameo that SRK would like Salman to play, he chose to keep it as a secret. He said, “Whether he is playing himself or not, just like Gogo Pasha’s role, we will keep it a secret till the end.”
Shah Rukh clarifies that he hasn’t talked to Salman yet. “I am going to speak to him when we get time. Salman and I only meet at 3 am, so we have to wait for the apt time,” he laughs.
As of now, Aanand L Rai’s untitled film stars “Jab Tak Hain Jaan” trio, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. It also stars filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia in the role of SRK’s father.
The two Khans will be on-screen together is definitely a certainty!
