Shweta Rohira, who Salman Khan considers his rakhi sister, is taking steps towards being a star like her very own brother. She is making her acting debut in producer-director Sunil Thadani’s short film, ‘Parineeti’ which is to be released on June 15th.
She is playing the title role with seasoned actors like Kitu Gidwani and Kanwaljeet Singh as co-stars. Shweta says, “It was a mind-blowing experience. Thanks to the team, I was comfortable and able to do justice to my role.”
Directed by Sunil Thadani, this short film shares the story of a sweet father-daughter bonding and Shweta was the first choice for playing the daughter’s role.
Shweta was earlier married to actor Pulkit Samrat. After her separation with him, this film is expected to be a big change in Shweta’s life.
Shweta has been tying rakhi to Salman Khan since she was a child. Sources tell us that her father, Sonu and Salman were bosom friends. And when Sonu passed away, Salman took little Shweta and her brother Sidharth under his wings.
