Samantha was earlier seen in the romantic sports drama ‘Majili’ where she collaborated with her husband Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. It was a major hit at the box-office.
In Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s hyperlink narrative flick ‘Super Deluxe’, she played the role of a women who tries to hide a corpse of a man who died while having sex with her. The film and her performance met with critical acclaim.
She recently finished filming for the Telugu remake of the 2018 Tamil romantic comedy ’96’, which will be releasing on 14 February next year.
