Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt says that he only prays that his son should not be like him. Sanjay’s half-life was caught in a web of drugs and legal hassles and that is the reason he does not want his son to be like him.
Actor Sanjay Dutt fought a battle with drugs and had even gone to rehab as well as he has served a jail term. Sanjay says that he has learned many lessons in his life and his innocence has been intact. He has been to drug abuse, faced the jail term and he was even arrested in a case related to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, in which more than 250 people died and several hundred were wounded.
Sanjay is raising his children in the same way he was raised. He says that he was raised as a normal child, he was sent to a boarding school, he went through the grind and now he is raising his children in the same way. He has three children a son named Shahraan and two daughters Trishala and Iqra.
He says that he always try to teach them the values of life and he always teaches them that they should always respect their elders even if they are the servants. He does not want his son to be like him because he does not want to go through what his dad went through because of him.
Sanjay and his father Sunil Dutt had together featured in the movie ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. He says that there was a time during his jail time that he actually wondered that why is he here in the prison despite being a Sunil Dutt’s son. While his mother never saw anything wrong in him, he says that all mothers are like the same they don’t see anything wrong with their son. Moreover, he said that whenever somebody’s used to come to complain about him, she never believes on them and she used to get angry on them only.
For the school going children, Sanjay said that don’t think too much from your heart, sometimes use your brain too. Moreover. he said that always listen to your parents and always stay away from the bad company. He says that we should all have to go with the law of the land and he promises that nothing wrong will happen.
He even opens up on his tryst with drugs, he said that he started taking drugs in his college. He said just to get into the scene he started taking drugs but he got so hooked up into that it took almost 10 long years to get out from that. But he feels that he is very lucky that he came out of that. Sanjay says that he wanted to tell young guys that please stay high on life, on your dreams, on your family, and on your work, besides this, there is no substance that will make you go high, and he said this with an experience.
Currently, Sanjay Dutt is gearing for his upcoming movie titled ‘Bhoomi’ and he says that it’s an amazing story which shows the great bond between the father and his daughter. The movie ‘Bhoomi’ reflects a father and daughter’s strong bond and how two of them fight against the injustice, to ensure that good win over evil. However, we have seen both the caring as well as the aggressive sides of Sanjay Dutt as a father who is demanding justice for his daughter Aditi Rao Hydari. The movie features Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharad Kelkar and Sidhant Gupta. The movie is said to be an emotional and sensitive revenge drama and it shows the relationship between a father and his daughter. Apart from ‘Bhoomi’, he will also be seen in the Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3’ and he is very excited to start work on that.
‘Bhoomi’ is all set to release worldwide on September 22nd, 2017.
