Actor, Sanjay Dutt is a strong man who has faced many hardships in his life off the screen. Guaranteed that he is a famous film star, but he has seen many dark times in his life. The actor is again facing dark time, with a new illness to fight with. Speculations are there that he has lung cancer but the actor and his family haven’t acknowledged what it is.
Through all this, his wife Maanayata Dutt has come forward to thank his fans and well-wishers, urging them not to speculate about his health and the illness with which he is suffering.
Recently his wife released an official statement about the actor’s health and treatment. In it, she has stated that he’ll receive the preliminary treatment in Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai.
The statement released on social media read :
“As a family, we have decided to face this with positivity and grace,” the statement read. Maanayata pointed out how important it was for them to go about their life “as normally as possible, with a smile, because this will be a tough fight and a long journey.”
Knowing the importance of staying positive in such times, Maanayata emphasized that keeping negativity away from Sanju is important currently.
Maamayata’s statement also cleared the air about whether the family will travel abroad for seeking treatment, with the COVID-19 pandemic still existing. On this, her statement read,
“Sanju will complete his preliminary treatment in Mumbai,” she said adding that they will “formulate further plans of travel depending on how and when the COVID situation eases.”
The actor was admitted to the hospital on August 8 after complaining of breathlessness. He tested negative for COVID-19, but a report of his health started doing rounds.
While some have claimed it as lung cancer stage 3 there is no clarity regarding this. The actor had tweeted to his fans not to worry or speculate as he’ll be back soon.
