The legendary actor Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for his upcoming movie title ‘The Good Maharaja‘, which will be directed by Omung Kumar. Recently, he wrapped up the shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Bhoomi‘ and he has already started working for his next movie.
Today, Ramesh Bhalla released the first look of Sanjay Dutt from the movie title “The Good Maharaja” on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “Here is the FL of #SanjayDutt – Dir #OmangKumar ‘s #TheGoodMaharaja – An Indo-Polish Joint Production… Abt Maharaja Jam Sahib Digvijaysinhji.”

The movie which is said to be a biopic on the ruler of Nawanagar – Maharaja Jam Sahib Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji. He was a princely state in a British India and he is very well known for establishing the refugee camps for the Polish people under his reign during the World War II.
In the Poster one can be seen Sanjay Dutt in a royal and elegant look. According to the reports, director Omung Kumar has been working on this project for more than a year. Omung has also taken permissions from the Polish government so that they can easily shoot in the country.
About his movie, Omung Kumar said, “We have photographs of the Maharaja for reference. We will take certain creative liberties but are trying to keep things as authentic as possible. Sanjay looks regal and it was his idea to do this role and I wanted to direct it because it’s a superb story.”
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in an Indian action movie titled “Bhoomi”, which is directed and co-produced by Omung Kumar. The movie features Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharad Kelkar and Sidhant Gupta. The movie is said to be an emotional and sensitive revenge drama and it shows the relationship between a father and his daughter.
‘Bhoomi’ is all set to releases worldwide on September 22nd, 2017.
