Sara Ali Khan made her debut with two blockbuster movies Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput and Simmba with Ranveer Singh last year. Since then, Sara Ali Khan has not stopped and has bagged a good number of films now. Recently, she also signed the remake of Govinda Karisma Kapoor’s Coolie No. 1 with Varun Dhawan.
Stepping into Karisma Kapoor’s shoes for her film is no easy task. being a newcomer in the industry, it’s like a golden opportunity for Sara Ali Khan to prove herself.
In a recent interview when she was questioned about the same she said that she cannot believe that she has got the chance to recreate the magic that Karisma created on screen and the character of Malti is a big responsibility for her and Sara also hopes and prays that she can do justice to the role. “I cannot believe that I have got the golden opportunity to recreate the magic that Karisma Kapoor created on screen. I hope I can do justice to it,” Sara said.

Talking more about the film, Coolie No.1 is helmed by David Dhawan and is produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The shooting of the film started on 8th August 2019 in Bankok, thereafter, the cast and crew shot in Mumbai. The film is set to hit the theatres on 1st May 2020 on the occasion of International Workers’ Day.
Sara Ali Khan was also reported as saying that she has seen almost all David Dhawan movies and now working with him is such insanity for her. and Sara was all praises for her co-star Varun Dhawan as she said that she had a blast working with Varun Dhawan in the movie.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan is also working on Imtiaz Ali’s next, the sequel of Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aaryan.
