According to the reports, Kannan Iyer who directed Emraan Hashmi starrer 2013 film ‘Ek Thi Daayan’. The movie failed at the box office. However, the director is making a comeback with a new story and has apparently roped in Sara Ali Khan.
Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut with Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Kedarnath’ and later the actress made her second appearance in ‘Simmba’, starring alongside Ranveer Singh which had a huge and successful run at the box office. With just two films old in Bollywood the actress already had created a name for herself in the B-town.
If reports are to be believed Sara will star next to Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali‘s next romantic venture. The film will be a sequel to Imtiaz Ali’s 2009 film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ featuring Sara Ali Khan’s father Saif Ali Khan.
Kannan Iyer’s new venture featuring Sara Ali Khan will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma production. The film will go on floors by August 2019.
Sara Ali Khan has gained immense appreciation from the audience and the critics for her performance in both the films. The audience has been eagerly waiting for the actress’s next film to hit the silver screens again.
