Sara Ali Khan entered the Bollywood with a bang last year. She worked in two films- Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput and Simmba with Ranveer Singh. The films were not only commercially successful but also brought her critical acclaim.
The Pataudi girl very soon won the hearts of millions with her positive energy and ‘realness’ in her interviews. Now, the actress is all set to impress the audience with another film which is being touted as the sequel of her father’s Love Aaj Kal released a decade ago.
The cast of the sequel which is currently reported to be titled as Aaj Kal has changed and now stars Sara and Kartik Aaryan while the film will be directed by Imtiaz Ali who also directed the first part.
Imtiaz is a brilliant director who gave us memorable films like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Tamasha and all the actors in Bollywood want to work under his direction. But Sara is lucky that she gets to work with him in the initial phase of her career and she is all in awe of the director.
During a recent interview, the actress spoke about her experience of working with Imtiaz. She said while under Imtiaz’s direction one lives the character and remains close to vision of the director. “Working with Imtiaz is a very indulging experince. You live so truthfully and so wholly the life that he wants for you and the life that envisions for you.”
She further added, “It’s a film made with a lot of dedication and love. It is based on what love is in today’s day and age.”
Besides Imtiaz’s film, the young actress is working in the official remake of David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1 where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan.
