The Maharashtra government had allowed Films and TV shoots to resume in non-containment zones earlier this month. Though only after observing proper hygeine guidelines.

As film industry gets ready to go back to work, one of the first films which will begin its shooting is John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate 2. Director, Milap Zaveri confirmed this via Twitter. Zaveri posted :

In an interview with the ‘Indian Express’ he said:

“We are planning to roll as soon as possible. The moment John finishes his Mumbai Saga shoot next month,  we begin immediately after that. And the team is prepared to take all precautions and follow all rules.”

John who is looking forward to finish work on Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga, is also keen to start the shoot of Satyamev Jayate 2. Though, there is uncertainty regarding how the shoot will be done amidst the virus, the team of the film is ready with all the precautions. Talking about this Zaveri said,

“We are confident we will be fine especially as we will take all safety measures. We all have to learn to live with the virus now. John is fully charged to shoot.”

Satyamev Jayate 2 was earlier scheduled to release on Gandhi Jayanti this year. The film is a sequel to the 2018 action film ‘ Satyamev Jayate’. It was a hit at the box office and had starred John in the lead, with Zaveri as the director.
