Indian film actress Sayyeshaa Saigal will be making her Sandalwood debut with ‘Yuvarathnaa’ opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. The film helmed by Santhosh Ananddram will be made under Hombale Films production banner.
Sayyeshaa confirmed the news by a tweet, in which she wrote, “Super happy to join the amazing team of #Yuvarathnaa ?Can’t wait to share screen space with @PuneethRajkumar sir under the direction of @SanthoshAnand15 sir! Thank you @hombalefilms for my exciting Kannada debut! (sic).”

Saigal was last seen in 2018 released Tamil movie ‘Ghajinikanth’ opposite Arya. The duo has been dating since then and on this Valentine’s Day, Arya confirmed that the two will get married in March 2019.
“With the blessings of our parents and family, we are delighted to share with you the most beautiful day of our lives. We are getting married this March! We seek your love and blessings in our new journey of happiness and togetherness – Arya and Sayyeshaa.” Arya said in a statement.
She will be also seen in Tamil language action thriller film ‘Kaappan’, directed by K. V. Anand and written by Pattukkottai Prabakar. The film which is currently under production process will also star Suriya, Mohanlal, and Arya.
The actress made her acting debut with Telugu movie ‘Akhil’ in 2015, against Akkineni Akhil. She also appeared in Hindi film ‘Shivaay’, which was her Bollywood debut, along with Ajay Devgn.
‘Yuvarathnaa’ is director Santhosh’s second collaboration with Puneeth Rajkumar. The duo gave blockbuster ‘Raajakumara’ in 2017.
