Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan posted a video on Twitter on Monday in which he can be seen rapping. The video aims at spreading awareness about the ongoing general elections and Shah Rukh Khan encourages the citizens of India to go and vote.
The song is titled “Karo Matdan” and has some catchy and fun lyrics. In the one minute video, Khan tells Indians to use their ballot and choose a government that loves the country and its citizens more than themselves.
The song is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, written by Abby Viral, and has been sung by Shah Rukh Khan himself.

Before the electoral process started, PM Narendra Modi took to Twitter to encourage people to cast their vote. In the process, he tagged some big names from Bollywood, sports, business, political and journalism and asked them to spread awareness about the elections.
Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, AR Rahman, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal had earlier responded to PM Modi’s appeal and through their respective social media handles, urged fans to cast their vote.
