Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan says that he is Shah Rukh Khan, why should he wants to be someone else. He feels that all his fame and success will be of no use if he finds himself getting affected by the success of his contemporaries.
When asked from the actor that is it difficult to remain unfazed by other’s work after being in the industry for more than 25 years. On this Shah Rukh Khan says that there is no point in becoming a such a huge star if he still going to follow someone else or if he gets bothered by someone else, think about someone else or if he compares himself to someone else. Moreover, he says that he is not out of pompousness or ego that everything is going for him and that is the reason why he does not feel that there is a need to look further than his mirror.
He says that he knows that he is being presumptuous but there are a lot of people out there and they always wish to become a Shah Rukh Khan and when he is Shah Rukh Khan so why should he want to be someone else. Recently, in an interview, he said that when he entered the industry he was a nobody. He was having no house, no money, no future, his parents were dead and he always did what he feels like doing because he was having nothing else to lose. Now he says that he has everything he says that if we look this in another way that now he has so much to lose.
Shah Rukh Khan says that there is another way at looking at all that he has achieved. He has gained so much in the industry that even now if he tries to lose it still it won’t go away. Shah Rukh Khan says that if there were so brave at the time when they had nothing so he says that why we all should not be equally brave in our beliefs and thoughts in what we want to do and at that time when we have everything going well for us.
He says that it is very silly not to do what one wants to do in the life. He has achieved a certain status and he is not saying that he is the path-breaking guy and he makes people follow him he wants that all of them see his as an example. Shah Rukh Khan says that he always does what he always feels like doing it. He made the most expensive movie in the country after knowing the fact that he would not be able to recover the money. But he did it just because he wants to do it.
In the last some years, he has done a movie with an unconventional choice featuring in a movie with a double role in the psychological thriller movie with a title ‘Fan’. He even did a cameo in the movie ‘Dear Zindagi’ a movie which belongs to the actress Alia Bhatt. He says that he is also get excited by the work of all his contemporaries but eventually he finds the solace in what he wants to do.
Shah Rukh Khan says that he believes that if someone has already done it then there is no need for you to do it. He says that you can actually go for something else which no one has thought of doing it. There are many people that know him, they all dream him on their mind and there are few people who have some good and bad things to say about him as well. However, he says that he can assimilate all of that and he just live his life. Shah Rukh Khan says that as an artist, actor, father, star it has to be what he feels every morning.
He does not watch much movie as a person form the Bollywood industry is often bound to watch. He does not like to watch a movie. Now, he says that his family has put a condition that if he wants to continue as an actor then he has to watch two Hindi movies in a month and they are like but how can you watch movies because you act in the films, make movies, run a company. His family made a list of films that he has to watch in a month. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in the Aanand L Rai’s movie. However, the name of the movie has not been decided yet and the movie also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead.
