Actor Shahid Kapoor is a family man and maintains a healthy relationship with his wife, mother father and step brother Ishaan Khatter.
On the occasion of Ishaan’s birthday, Shahid shared a video on his Instagram profile as a story that is giving strong sibling vibes.
In the picture, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor is seen accompanied by his younger step brother on the stage and wrote a beautiful caption.
He wrote: “Happy Birthday @IshaanKhatter May you shine bright this year. Up up and away.”
Shahid is the son of actor Pankaj Kapur and actor-dancer Neelima Azeem. Both of them later divorced and Neelima went on to marry actor Rajesh Khattar.
Rajesh and Neelima separated in 2001. Ishaan is his maternal half-brother from his mother’s marriage to Khattar and they share a healthy bond.
On the work front, Shahid is currently preparing for his role of a cricketer in the Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu sports film ‘Jersey.’
His last outing was ‘Kabir Singh’, where he played an alcoholic lover. The film proved to be the highest grossing venture of his career.
Ishan, on the other hand, will be seen in the horror comedy ‘Khaali Peeli’, which is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film ‘Taxiwala.’
He is currently busy filming for the BBC series ‘A Suitable Boy’ by Mira Nair, which is based on the namesake novel by Vikram Seth.
