Shanvi Srivastava is a well known movie actress who mainly appears in Kannada and Telugu films. Shanvi is currently elated as her upcoming movie Geetha is soon going to release. The movie is directed by debutant Vijay Naagendra and stars Ganesh, Prayaga Martin, Shanvi Srivastava in lead roles.

Talking about her upcoming movie, Shanvi plays two characters in the film. She spoke to Times of India about her role and gave some good insights. Shanvi said that, “Both roles have shades of grey and that was challenging to pull off, because negativity and jealousy do not come naturally to me”.
Talking about the experience working with Ganesh, she said, “I was already aware of his method and style of acting and that helped me work with him better than before. Acting opposite him is a more natural process now, and did not need much rehearsing.”
One more thing about her upcoming movie is that Shanvi is sharing screen-space with other lead females. On sharing screen with another actress, Shanvi said that, “It’s the character that stays in people’s hearts, not the length of the role”.
She accepted that she earlier preferred to be part of a solo heroine project, but not anymore. She reasoned it with saying, “Today, the number of heroines in a film doesn’t matter to me, provided my character is important, and as long as the role stays in people’s hearts”.
