Human is a medical thriller that revolves around unethical human trials of a banned drug and the dark corner of the medical industry. The show features Shefali Shah as Gauri Nath, a neurosurgeon and also the owner of a prestigious hospital. The show sets entirely in the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. But obviously, most of the scenes are largely shot in Mumbai. Shefali Shah collaborated with her husband, Vipul Shah after 17 years since ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time.’
On the contrary, Kirti Kulhari features as Dr Saira Sabharwal, a junior cardiac surgeon who returns to her hometown after a long time. She is one of the most competent employees of Gauri Nath. Mardaani 2 famed Vishal Jethwal plays the character of a young slum-boy named Mangu. With his desire to escape the slum and an intention to get quick-rich, he enrolls the humans unaware of the side effects of the drug trials. The entire show primarily revolves around the lives of the three characters.
Moreover, Ram Kapoor casts as Shefali Shah’s husband, Pratap Munjal and Indraneil Sengupta as Kirti Kulhari’s husband, Neil.

The opening scene of the series premiers a laboratory of Vayu Pharma in Bhopal and a multi-speciality hospital Manthan, owned by India’s aced neurosurgeon, Gauri Nath. A drug tested on rats in the laboratory of Vayu Pharmaceuticals is banned but gets repacked as a super medicine to recover the losses incurred during the covid-19 situation. Gauri Nath’s unfettered greed and ambition make her join hands with the Vayu Pharma company to scam the poor patients unaware of the consequences of the illegal drug trial on themselves.

In order to fill his pockets, Mangu gets the patients to enroll for the drug trials unaware of the side effects of the same.
Dr Saira Sabharwal breaks the cycle of evil in order to save the lives of the humans being worn for the profit of the medical firm.
Spread over 10 episodes of 40-50 minutes duration, the drama exhibits the unbound greed and intention of Gauri Nath to proceed beyond the heights of the extent to save the reputation of her hospital.

Vipul Shah has created a masterpiece with a novel theme. Overall, Human is an interesting thriller drama with a new sensitive subject and unpredictable events that is sure to make you binge-watch it.
