Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Haseena Parker(2017) directed by Apoorva Lakhia has signed 3 new projects – Stree, Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Sahoo. She, like many other celebrities shares glimpse of her life on Instagram. But, yesterday the actress suddenly deleted all her pictures from her Instagram account, and left only three pictures that read “Mard Ko Dard Hoga” Fans were left clueless about this strange activity on her account, and some are even worried that Shraddha’s Instagram account has been hacked. Even her profile picture has disappeared from the account.
Well, considering the fact that this is the tag-line from her upcoming horror-comedy ‘Stree’, speculations are that this has been done for the promotion of the movie. Now a days Social media has become not only not w way to share you life but also a promotion tool by celebrities and other public figures. Shraddha Kapoor isn’t the only one who has done this, Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik have used this promotional method in order to launch their new Album/Singles.
Stree is an upcoming Comedy Horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.and Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. The film is based on the Indian urban legend, Nale Ba – Nale Ba was an urban legend viral during the 1990s in Karnataka. The myth goes “a witch roams the streets in the night and knocks the door. The witch apparently spoke in voices of your kin so you would be deceived to open the door. If you open it then you will die.” Stree stars Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor and is scheduled to release on 31 August 2018. The music for the film has been composed by Sachin-Jigar. A song featuring Rajkummar Rao and Nora Fatehi is also added in the soundtrack of the film.
Looking at the story and the promotional method used by the makers, it has sure left her curious.
