Shraddha Kapoor differentiates between working in action and romantic genre

Shraddha Kapoor had recently impressed all of us with her superb performance in the movie Chhichhore. She had played the role of a college student ‘Maya’ and later an old women. She looked convincing in both the roles. Actress is currently all geared up for her upcoming film Street Dancer.

In her career of over a decade, Shraddha has starred in almost all the genres. She has done some classy action movies like Ek Villain, Baaghi and Haseena Parkar, and had also done some romantic movies like Aashiqui 2 and Half Girlfriend. Actress was recently asked in an interview, which of these genres she likes the best and she shares her views.

Shraddha said, “I don’t think easiness or challenges come with the genre. I really look for the challenges in every role I do. Action has it’s challenges more physically and romantic movies have challenges pertaining to every scene. Action sequences have pretty big toll on your body and romantic scenes have more of a emotional toll”.

Talking about her upcoming movie Street Dancer, it is a dance film directed by Remo D’Souza, starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and Prabhu Deva in lead roles.

The shooting of the movie is almost over and it is all set to release in India on 24 January 2020.

What very few people know about this movie is that, the first choice for female lead in it was Katrina Kaif and Shraddha was later included in it. Shraddha recently talked about it in a interview with Pinkvilla, and said I don’t have any hard feeling about it.

She said, “Ultimately I feel like there are so many reasons. Like I couldn’t do Saina (Saina Nehwal’s biopic) for whatever reasons and these things happen. Eventually, I think it is what your happy with. I was super thrilled that I came on board for Street Dancer 3.”
