Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film titled “Haseena Parkar“, which is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Nahid Khan. The actress says she would want to direct her father and actor Shakti Kapoor if she ever dons the director’s hat.
Yesterday, Shraddha treated her fans and well, when a user asked her “If you ever have to direct a film, which actor would you cast for it?” She replied, “If I would ever direct, I think I would want to direct my dad!”
About her character in Haseena, Shraddha said, “I gained seven to eight kilos for the movie. Now I have to lose it.” About the director Apoorva, Shraddha said, “He is one of the most positive people I have ever met and it was delightful working with him because of that. Energy is everything.”
Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar was living a normal family life before her husband was gunned down by men from Arun Gawli’s gang. This incident prompted her to step up and be a part of the notorious ‘D-Company’ and eventually become the Godmother of Nagpada. The movie is based on a true story on the life and times of the sister of India’s Most Wanted Man Dawood Ibrahim. The film’s tagline is, “80 cases registered yet she appeared in the court only once”, and this power permeates the teaser too.
The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 18 August 2017.
