Shruti Haasan is an Indian film actress and singer, who works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films. She is the daughter of veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur. Through her successful career, she has received three Filmfare Awards and has established herself as one of the leading actresses of South Indian cinema. Last year Shruti has even produced a short film which was on social awareness. Now, she is planning to release four-five, multilingual small budget films under her own banner.
