Aamir Khan China

After his continuous success in Dangal and Secret Superstar in China Aamir Khan or as the locals prefer Shūshu Aamir Khan looks to take it to another level by adding that he would like to make a movie with both the talents. He hopes that this would indeed help out with the ongoing dispute between Inda and China and thereby bring the two countries closer.

Aamir has been extremely happy with the results of his last two movies. In fact, Dangal is the 33rd film in Chinese history to have crossed RMB one billion making him now a very common name to the residents. It approximately takes 6 months to premiere Bollywood movie in the Chinese theatres but Secret Superstar was aired in just 3. This clearly shows the interest Chinese distributors have towards Aamir khan’s projects.

Dangal has been so well appreciated and inspired that even President Xi Jinping congratulated for its theme. The movie has been recommended by the teachers to the students and parents across the nation as it holds a true inspiration to how a success story can be written in life. His previous movie 3 Idiots was also well appreciated throughout the world for its academic and educational enlightenment and struggles covering as another motivational topic. And now wants to show case both the countries talent in one single project of his.

“There are many Chinese actors who are very talented… I really want to do films with talents from China. Your Chinese talents and us Indians, we should make a film together. I believe it’ll be wonderful,” gushed Aamir to news agency Xinhua. “I would like to see a lot of collaboration between creative people from China and India, making stories that people from both countries would love to see. I think it will bring the two countries closer. It will be wonderful for Indian audience to see Chinese actors and Chinese talents,” he maintained.

For the recent promotion of Secret Superstar, Aamir added as to how he was happy to be back in China with the people appreciating him with warm regards. He talked about China being like a second home to him and is glad that they understand and connect with his movies. He continued by adding to the audience that he depicts a funny man in this movie compared to the serious role he played in Dangal just for them to have a gist of what to look forward to. He also talked about his new fiction movie Thugs of Hindostan promising to be a big action adventure set in the period of early 1900’s.

The parallels between the two countries may have helped Shūshu Aamir Khan’s films Dangal, which is about India’s skewed sex ratio and preference for sons—an issue China also battles. Also, 3 idiots depicts the cases similar to China’s top engineering schools, some of which have seen students commit suicide under the stress they face there. With a lot of social and cultural similarities, it is no wonder as to why Khan’s films are well booming in the Chinese industry as it is in India.

To show his appreciation khan created his first ever account in Weibo a twitter alternative commonly used in China which gathered around 210000 likes with 260000 followers in no time.

Always looking for a solution to the countries sorrows even through his projects, Aamir now hopes that his successful run with the Chinese film distributors and fans will bring the countries closer.
