Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez‘s upcoming quirky action comedy movie ‘A Gentleman’ has been finally released today. The movie which is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and produced by Fox Star Studios.

The movie ‘A Gentleman’ starts with the introduction of a totally safe Gaurav (Sidharth Malhotra). Gaurav works in the marketing department of the leading software company. While the Rishi (Sidharth Malhotra) works in the ‘Unit X’ as the Man Friday of Colonel (Sunil Shetty), a self-centered bad man and he do not think twice before bumping off any of his henchmen for his own benefit.

Gaurav nurtures his dreams of having his own house so that his children can play at ease. However, he is in love with his colleague Kavya (Jacqueline Fernandez), but he does not have guts to confess his love for Kavya. While on the other hand, Rishi has worked for Colonel for so many years and one day trigger-happy Rishi decides to leave a peaceful life, minus all the violence. When Rishi finally decides to tell this to Colonel about his decision to leave Unit X, initially Colonel allows him to leave the outfit but later he said that he can leave only after completing one last task. Without wasting much time Colonel instructs his men to bump off Rishi once his work is completed.

The movie will revolve around the Gaurav and Rishi (both the characters played by Sidharth Malhotra) they both are leading a completely different life and in separate countries. However, the first half of the movie is bit confusing, there are some unnecessary scenes and unneeded music and humours which failed to add the entertainment. Few minutes before the interval when you get to know exactly where the screenplay is actually heading.

The event of the movie keeps shifting between Miami, Bangkok, and Mumbai. Gaurav is dealing with his pitfalls of being a nice guy. While Rishi deals with the morality of being a contract killer. Gaurav wants to live a life like Rishi and on the other hand, Rishi is sick of living an immoral life and now he wants to settle down and find love. In the first half, everyone seems misplaced and which is leading to much confusion.

The second half of the movie is a fun when the real personalities of the on-screen characters are revealed to the audience. The movie is started up with the action, which is definitely the USP of the piece of cinema. Jacqueline adds unimaginable glamour in the movie and interestingly Sidharth has done a great job. The duo’s chemistry and quirky talks will give the audience a great laugh. Sunil Shetty’s cameo could have been more dramatic because his role won’t appeal that much.

The makers have done a great job during the climax of the movie. The movie has a kind of action what Bollywood town deserves. The music of the movie is good, but the makers haven’t adjusted the song in the screenplay so it seemed a bit flawed.  Overall, the movie ‘A Gentleman’ is something you won’t regret watching.
