The ‘Avengers’ craze in India is finally starting to affect some prominent Bollywood personalities as they show no hesitance in confessing their love towards the Marvel movie on social networking sites. The most recent Twitter post by 33-year-old ex-model Sidharth Malhotra has been attracting an immense amount of attention within a few hours of it being posted. This post contained a video in which the actor himself, as well as his co-star and close friend Katrina Kaif, were filmed practicing their morning exercise. The actor duo was shown doing the tractor tire flip exercise in a private field with their friend and fellow actor Aditya Roy Kapoor.
The entire 23-second video was edited in such a manner that the original audio was deleted, while the renowned Marvel’s Avengers’ theme was inserted as background music. As the bass drop in the music approaches, Sidharth is seen struggling and falling behind Katrina in their tire flipping race. It is then, that his friend Aditya takes on the role of a referee as he playfully hits Sidharth with a kick in order to encourage him to go faster; a feat in which he is successful.
Sidharth Malhotra posted the entire shot on his personal Twitter with a caption hinting on the duo preparing themselves for an ‘Indian’ Avengers. Within the next 30 minutes, director of Student of The Year, Malhotra’s debut movie, Karan Johar ‘quoted’ his tweet with a caption expressing his desire to visit the duo in the gym and possibly exercise together.
