Actor Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee will be seen on screen for the first time in “Aiyaary” which is being helmed by Neeraj Pandey. The movie is based on a true incident involving two army officers. While Manoj will be seen as the mentor, Sidharth will be playing his protege and both are two strong-minded individuals who have completely different views but are right in their own way.
The team was in Kashmir for a quick seven-day schedule and according to a leading tabloid, they interacted with the locals as well as the army in the Valley. A source stated, “It was humbling to witness the difficult conditions in which the jawans lived and the constant danger they faced. For the jawans too, interacting with Sid and Manoj and posing for pictures with them was a wonderful experience.”
The film ‘Aiyaary’ is apparetly a crime drama based on a real life incidents. It revolves around the relationship between a mentor and a protege. Sidharth says he is excited to play the role of an army espionage agent in the film. It also stars Manoj Bajpayee and is scheduled to release on January 26, next year.
