The Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer collect Rs. 4.75 crore on Wednesday. It was a first noticeable fall in the collection of mass appealer ‘Simmba’. The collection fell 10-25% on the day before. It is still a good number for a second Wednesday but it looks weak in achieving its 250 crore net mark.
Rohit Shetty helmed film crossed ₹200 crore mark on its 12th day at the box office. This film has given Ranveer Singh his biggest opening till date. The film has collected ₹56.50 crore in its second week. The film will collect a total of ₹210 crore net in its second week but the third Friday could see a drop in the collection due to the release of two films.
According to biz analyst Taran Adarsh, Simmba has crossed ‘lifetime business’ of Golmaal Again on the day 13. Golmaal Again was also helmed by Rohit Shetty. He also added that the film will touch ₹212 crore in the second week. While the film earned ₹9.02 crore on Friday, ₹13.32 crore on saturday, ₹17.49 crore on Sunday, ₹6.16 crore on Monday, ₹6.03 on Tuesday and ₹5.13 crore on Wednesday making a total of ₹208.16 crore till now.
