Bollywood played its last but most important card as the year comes to an end. The last Hindi film of the year 2018 is finally out with a roar and the audience is going crazy over the Ranveer starrer. However, the Rohit Shetty directorial is also receiving bad reviews but it is a win situation for the film as the number of positive reviews are higher.
‘Simmba‘ is the Hindi adaptation to the Telugu film ‘Temper’ starring NTR Jr. But this one is slightly different, in terms of climax and ending.
The plot is not new but has its own freshness. A small boy aspires to be a corrupt policeman as their life is an ideal one. He grows up to be one, with the name Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba (Ranveer Singh). He gets transferred to a new place, meets Shagun (Sara Ali Khan) and falls in love.
Aakruti (Vaidehi Parashurami), a medical student who teaches poor kids, calls Simmba her elder brother. She somehow gets to know that her students are used as a medium to smuggle drugs by Sonu Sood’s brothers Saurabh Gokhale and Amrit Singh. She collects the evidence in her cell phone and gets caught.
With some unexpected turns of events, Simmba changes for good and chose the road to honesty.
The first half of the film is a joyride, with Simmba’s comedy. But, because the script demands it, the second half is serious and tense. The courtroom sequence and the climax take the film a notch higher.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh already declared the film a winner in his tweet.
#OneWordReview…#Simmba: WINNER.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A solid, well-packaged entertainer with a powerful message… Rohit Shetty gets it right yet again… And so does Ranveer, who is outstanding… Whistles, claps, laughter assured… Expect a STORM at the BO… #SimmbaReview pic.twitter.com/jVCxMjjaF8— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) December 27, 2018
The film is total Rohit Shetty masala and the audience get what they expected from him.

Simmba is not only ahead of Singham, but far superior to Dabangg, the blockbuster that defines the genre – Raja Sen #Simmba #SimmbaReview OMG 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is Shetty’s best work, a film of unflagging tempo with a genuinely charismatic lead, and while the actual story — about a bad cop who starts avenging rapes — isn’t interesting or original, Shetty keeps it entertaining – Raja Sen #Simmba #SimmbaReview
