After the amazing success of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning‘ and ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion‘, all eyes are now glued to Prabhas‘s next film ‘Saaho‘. Another reason why everyone is eagerly waiting for this flick is because of the hit pairing of Prabhas- Anushka Shetty. But there are reports that even before Anushka, Sonam Kapoor was approached to play the female lead in ‘Saaho’.
The report quotes a source as saying, “The filmmakers gave Sonam a brief idea of the film, and she agreed to meet them. But neither did the meeting happen nor did the makers return with a bound script.”
Many names were said to be in the race that included Shraddha Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Pooja Hegde. In the end, the makers went with the tried-and-tested choice by roping in Anushka.
Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is playing the baddie in this film and has even started shooting for it in Hyderabad. He said, “Saaho is a larger-than-life film and, post Baahubali, the entire nation is rooting for Prabhas. And where there is a mega hero, there will always be a mega villain too. My character has many shades like every other character in the film. It’s quite an exciting project, Sujeeth has a great vision. Saaho will be the biggest action film of 2018.”
International stuntman Kenny Bates, popular for his work on films such as Die Hard and Transformers, has been brought on board.The movie has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. While Sabu Cyril will take care of production design, Madhie will crank the camera.
