Sonu Sood is back at it again. Actor, now helps 177 migrant girls stranded in Kerela to reach their home in Odisha. The girls were stuck there because of the lockdown and were employed in a factory for stitching and embroidery.

The migrant girls predicament was informed to the actor by his close friend in Bhubaneswar.  He immediately decided to help them and initiated the process of getting airports opened up. Special permissions were granted by the government to him for the same.

Praising his efforts, Rajya Sabha MP Amar Patnaik took to Twitter to thank him. He tweeted:

Sonu who has been winning hearts all over the country with his efforts for the migrant communities, also helped around 1000 migrant workers to reach their villages by arranging buses for them. He has started the ‘Ghar Bhejo’ initiative with his friend, Neeti Goel.

He has become a Messiah for the migrant labours for his contribution towards their welfare. The actor has starred in films like ‘Dabbang’, Singh is Kinng and ‘Simmba’.
