Sidharth Malhotra debuted his career from Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, as Abhimanyu Singh, a college boy competing for the trophy of ‘Student of the Year.’ Through his charm and allure, he has won the hearts of the audience. We just cannot stop thinking about his unforgettable entry in the song, ”Munda Kukkad Kamaal Da” every time we hear it. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan featured beside Sid in Student Of The Year.

2. Hasee Toh Phasee – 2014

A romantic comedy starring Sidharth as Nikhil, a struggling businessman who attempts to please her fiance all the time. Things get interesting with his fiance’s sister Meeta, played by Parineeti Chopra and they end up getting married. The movie has a great collection of music with a vibe of ‘love is in the air.’

3. Ek Villain – 2014

Inspired by a South Korean revenge film, Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain stars Sidharth as Guru, a gangster whose life takes a turn and he falls in love with a girl Aisha, played by Shraddha Kapoor. Ritesh Deshmukh features as the serial killer who kills Aisha, and Guru begins to search for the culprit for revenge. Ek Villain is a unique romantic thriller, unlike the other Bollywood films.

4. Kapoor & Sons – 2016

A story of a dysfunctional family struggling to live in peace despite combat and chaos in their lives. The two brothers Arjun, played by Sidharth and Fawad Khan, as Rahul discovers their parents’ marriage falling apart. Also, things get more complicated when a girl causes a quarrel between the two. The movie has an essence, which make us realise how much we love our ‘imperfect’ family in a most perfect way.

5. Baar Baar Dekho – 2016

Nitya Mehra’s Baar Baar Dekho exhibits the story of a time-travelling mathematical genius, Jai Verma who realises the mistakes he made in past and his attempts to rectify those mistakes to have a bright future with his loved ones. Sidharth stars as Jai and his wife Diya, played by Katrina Kaif in the movie.

6. Aiyaary – 2018

The narrative centres around the relationship between an army officer and his protege. Jai Bakshi, the protege, played by Sidharth turns rouge and threatens to derange the country’s government, prompting the officer to race against time and chase him down. Beside Sidharth Malhotra, the film has a diverse cast of versatile actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher and Rakul Preet Singh.

7. Marjaavaan – 2019

Marjaavaan is an intense love story of a gangster, Raghu and Zoya, a muted girl from Kashmir. Sidharth stars as Raghu, who works for a local don, Narayan, and his most competent aide. However, Vishnu gets jealous of his popularity and conspires against Raghu. Situations take a chaotic turn where Zoya gets killed by Vishnu, and Raghu comes back for revenge.

8. Shershaah – 2021

Shershaah chronicles the events of the Kargil war of 1999. Sidharth Malhotra as Captain Vikram Batra exhibits the character of a young soldier whose invincible spirit and extensive courage contributed immensely towards India’s victory. Shershah is one of the best movies of Sidharth Malhotra’s career and a massive blockbuster of 2021.
