Sridevi is back with a new film, ‘Mom’. CE learns that this is her 300th film. It is an upcoming Indian thriller film which is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain. The film stars Sridevi, Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in lead roles, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance. Music for the film is being scored by A. R. Rahman.
Yesterday Sridevi said, “It was a dream to work with double Oscar winning composer AR Rahman and was finally realised with her upcoming movie ‘Mom’.” She added,” When Ravi and I started working on the project, we felt it’d be nice to have Rahman on board. We were blessed to work with him because it has been a long-time dream. I’d forever be grateful to him for being part of this film,”
About the movie singer A.R.Rahman said, “The story of ‘Mom’ is “universal” and that’s what makes it “unique”.”It’s about familial relationship. Irrespective of which part of the world you live, family is special and we’d do anything to protect our loved ones.”
