Upcoming Telegu movie Srinivasa Kalyanam is set to release sometime in 2018. It has just stepped into its third arc of filming, with the shooting schedule bringing the cast into Chandigarh. Telegu actors Nithiin and Raashi Khanna are the main protagonist and couple of the story which proceeds with portraying Nithiin as an architecture student.
In order to add authenticity to Nithiin’s character, the film directors have shifted their shooting to one of the most exquisite cities of India, designed by Le Crobusier who was a famous Swiss-French architect during the 20th Century.
As revealed from the images taken by fans and the photography paparazzi, it is confirmed that the director is targeting famous landmarks and scenic locations in the state. Nithiin himself was photographed by the Times of India filming a scene at the renowned Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh. Other locations for the filming are expected to be in the Pedestrian’s Paradise; aka the Sector 17 of Chandigarh and the famous Capitol Complex.
Visual sources confirm that the shooting for the Srinivasam Kalyanam contains an extremely delicate and elaborate set which was set up at the Pinjore Gardens. Fans have confirmed that a vigorous dance choreography was shot at this very set by 50 of the best Bhangra dancers in Chandigarh. According to analytical sources, if this dance sequence actually makes the cut, it will be the first dance of the Bhangra form to be featured in a Telegu film.
After the shooting in Chandigarh is over, the crew is set to move on to East Godavari in Seemandhra where the shooting will finally end, following which the post-production will begin.
