The famous Bollywood star, Shah Rukh Khan speaks up and gives a strong message about feminism at The Dabbu Ratnani Calendar Launch. The calendar launch took place in Mumbai on Wednesday.
After speaking out on the mass molestation that happened in Brigade Road in Bengaluru on New Years Eve. He attended a fashion show where he condemned this incident strongly.
He stated his definition of feminism clearly and said that men have an integral part in it.
“The most basic thing that men need to do is treat women with dignity and respect. Be it a 2-year-old or an 80-year-old, women need to be treated with basic dignity. Just treat women as humans.” he said.
He also said that he has been surrounded by women throughout his life and that made him all the more respectful.
