What is common between the films, Erin Brockovich, Traffic, Logan Lucky, and Magic Mike. One thing, these films are all directed by Steven Soderbergh. He is the creative genius behind these amazing, Hollywood flicks, and he is coming back with another film. This time a crime-thriller, titled No Sudden Move.

For the film, he has compiled a cast of actors, most directors would only dream of. Actors like, David Harbour, Noah Jupe, Kieran Culkin, and Brendan Fraser are starring in the film, in lead roles.

While the list does not end here, some more serious Hollywood talent, round off the list, which includes names such as Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, Amy Seimetz, Jon Hamm, Ray Liotta, Bill Duke, Frankie Shaw, and Julia Fox.

A project of HBO MAX and Warner Bros Pictures, the production of the film is already in works. The shooting of the film is taking place in Detroit with all the COVID-19 safety measures in place, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Ed Soloman has written the film, which is set in 1955 Detroit. The film is about a group of small-time criminals, tasked to steal a simple-looking document. Their plan, however, goes awry, setting a search for who hired them, for what purpose, in the ever-changing city of race segregated Detroit.

Writer, Ed Soloman, and Director, Soderbergh is collaborating with the third time on the film. Earlier, they had worked on Bill & Ted: Face The Music and The HBO limited series, and interactive app, Mosiac.

The month of Spring was going to witness the start of the film’s shoot. It did not materialize because of the coronavirus.

Casey Silver is producing the crime-thriller.

Steven Soderbergh’s last film was The Laundromat, based on the Panama papers scandal. It released on Netflix last year and starred Meryl Streep, Sharon Stone, Gary Oldman, and Antonio Banderas in the leads.

The star-cast of his next film looks like a dream, we hope that the film too fulfills all Soderbergh fan’s dreams.
