The ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’ actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi is making her acting comeback after almost 10 years with John Abraham’sRomeo Akbar Walter‘. The actress will be seen as Rehana Kazmi, an editor of a leading newspaper in the film.

Suchitra revealed that she was preparing for a Himalayan trek when the offer turned up out of nowhere and she turned it down. “But eventually I couldn’t go as I had injured my back and a month later, they called saying Robbie was keen for me to play this woman who can influence minds and when I heard the story, I was glad I didn’t go on the trek,” she said.

She lost her actress-sister Sujata Kumar last year and she shared that she misses her a lot, as Sujata was not only her sibling but she was her mother and best friend too. “She’s still around me, like an angel. My daughter Kaveri heard me speaking to her and thinks I’ve gone mad. I miss her so much.”

The actress released the cover of ‘Namo Namo‘ from ‘Kedarnath‘ two weeks ago. “Music is a part of my core, I’d lost it and become a different person. Now, having rediscovered it, I feel more grounded and happy,” admits Suchitra.

Talking about her plans for collaboration with her daughter. “The mother and daughter are definitely doing a song soon, which will be a fusion of Kaveri’s English lyrics and my Hindustani vocals. The music video that Shekhar has directed for Kaveri will be out in a couple of weeks,” Suchitra informs.
