On the work front, Surveen received praises for her role of Jojo Mascarenas in the second season of the Netflix series ‘Sacred Games.’
The series, directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Drama Series.
Surveen had also played the role of Dr. Meher Mirza in the web series ‘Haq Se’, co-starring Rajeev Khandelwal and Parul Gulati.
She had started her career in 2003 with Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘Kahin To Hoga’ and later acted as Kasak Bajaj in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’. She then played the title character of Kaajjal Behl in ‘Kaajjal.’
Her film debut was in 2008 with the Kannada film ‘Paramesha Panwala’ and has appeared in several regional language films.
Her Bollywood credits include ‘Hum Tum Shabana’, ‘Ugly’, ‘Hate Story 2’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Parched.’
